The Congress party has released a manifesto specifically for Telangana with 23 main guarantees. The manifesto includes promises like relaunching the ITIR project in Hyderabad, implementing the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act – 2014, and establishing key infrastructure projects.

Some of the guarantees in the manifesto are the development of a Rapid Railway System along the Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway, setting up educational institutions like IIM and Mining University in Hyderabad, and establishing a National Sports University in Telangana. The manifesto also promises direct transfer of central government funds to village sarpanches and setting up a solar power generation system for every house.

The Congress party aims to secure power by fulfilling promises made in the manifesto. They have already fulfilled 6 promises in the recent Telangana assembly elections. By releasing national and state-wise manifestos like ‘Nyai Patra’, the Congress hopes to gain support from the people with its comprehensive promises for Telangana.
