    Hyderabad: Former MP and senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao has asked the leaders of the BRS party not to turn the issue of late Rajiv Gandhi’s statue into a political matter. The statue was installed in front of the Secretariat on Monday.

    While speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, V Hanumantha Rao praised former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi for his contributions to India. He mentioned that Rajiv Gandhi played a key role in modernizing the country and was a visionary leader who worked hard for India’s development.

    He also warned that any conflicts or problems caused by this issue could harm the BRS party. Rao reminded everyone that Rajiv Gandhi’s family has made great sacrifices for the nation and that disrespecting such a leader would not be good for anyone.
