More than 800 leaders and activists from the BRS group have joined the Congress party in Wanaparthy. They come from Pebbair and Peddamandadi Mandals in the district. Among them are former Sarpanchas, activists, youth, and leaders from Gopalpeta village in Revalli Mandal.
The members were warmly welcomed into the party by Congress candidate Tudi Megha Reddy. Prominent figures at the event included Karnataka Belgaum’s MLC, Wanaparthy Block Congress president Srinivasugaud, former Sarpanchas, and other party members.
