Gadwal: State Excise Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao and Principal Secretary Aditya encountered strong opposition during their visit to the Gadwal Assembly constituency. The opposition came from supporters of former Zilla Parishad Chairperson Saritha.
The purpose of the minister’s visit was to inspect irrigation resources in the region. However, the visit quickly turned tense when Saritha’s followers blocked the official event.
They were upset because they felt Saritha had not been informed about the visit. This led to a heated confrontation, creating a tense atmosphere in Gadwal.
