Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao addressed a public meeting in Suryapet on Sunday. He urged the people of Telangana to think carefully before giving a chance to the Congress or BJP to rule the state. He pointed out that these parties have been in power for 50 years but have never brought a medical college to Suryapet or other districts of Nalgonda. The Congress used to provide only Rs 200 as social pension while in power, but now they are promising Rs 4000. However, the Chief Minister questioned if they are fulfilling this promise in other states where they are in power. He emphasized the need for the people to think before casting their votes.

During the public meeting, the Chief Minister inaugurated the integrated district collectorate office complex and SP office in Suryapet. He urged the people not to remain silent after listening to his speech but to discuss these issues within their communities and families. He encouraged them to make a wise decision before voting.

The Chief Minister also announced various benefits for Suryapet district, including Rs 10 lakh per Gram Panchayat, Rs 25 crore for four municipalities, and Rs 50 crore for Suryapet. He sanctioned the establishment of a Kala Bharati, women polytechnic, sports facilities, and an R&B building for the district.

KCR explained why the people should not vote for the Congress, stating that if they come to power, they will abolish the Dharani portal, which is an integrated land records system. He warned that this would allow middlemen to reenter the system and tamper with land records. He also highlighted that important programs like Rythu Bima cannot be implemented without the Dharani portal.

The Chief Minister praised the BRS government for successfully waiving off farm loans worth Rs 37,000 crore despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic and the note ban in 2016. He criticized the Congress by pointing out the power cuts faced by Bangalore since the party came to power in Karnataka.

KCR hinted at the possibility of an increase in pension money under the BRS government and emphasized that their welfare schemes do not discriminate based on caste or religion.
