Hyderabad: Union Minister of Coal and Mines, G Kishan Reddy, criticized the Telangana police on social media platform X. He accused the police, under the Congress government, of targeting and harassing activists from various Hindu organizations.
According to Reddy, after filing an FIR related to a particular incident, the police added more charges late at night. These included Section 109, which refers to an attempt to murder. He claimed that this was done to intentionally harass members of these Hindu groups.
Reddy also questioned whether the police’s actions were part of a conspiracy or motivated by hatred. He stated that the government, led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, has a lot of explaining to do regarding this issue.
