Gadwal: A police constable named R. Krishnayya, who worked at Ieej Police Station in Jogulamba Gadwal district, has been suspended for helping in the illegal transportation of rice meant for the Public Distribution System (PDS).
An internal investigation was conducted, and it was found that Krishnayya was involved in assisting with this unlawful activity. As a result, the District Superintendent of Police (SP) T. Srinivas Rao took action and issued suspension orders on Friday. This was done according to the rules and regulations of the police department.
The SP made it clear that the police department keeps a close watch on how its officers behave and perform their duties. He also stressed that any misconduct by officers will not be tolerated.
