    In Khammam, Police Commissioner Sunil Dutt stated that three-tier security measures are in place to ensure safety during the Lok Sabha general election vote counting. District Collector VP Gautam and Police Commissioner Sunil Dutt inspected the strong rooms at Sri Chaitanya Engineering College in Khammam Rural Mandal Ponnekallu.

    The Police Commissioner mentioned that 250 police officers and special teams are prepared for the vote counting scheduled for June 4. Strict security has been arranged with three platoons of special police forces to prevent any disturbances in the area after the election results are announced. According to election regulations, assembly meetings and victory rallies cannot be held without permission, and legal action will be taken against violators. The surrounding areas of Sri Chaitanya Engineering College are being regularly checked by a dog squad and bomb squad.

    During the vote counting, officials have reminded candidates and agents that cell phones, matches, lighters, ink bottles, liquids, and any explosives are prohibited from being brought into the counting centers.
