Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court has dismissed three cases against Shashidhar Goud, also known as Nalla Balu, a prominent social media supporter of the BRS. This decision was celebrated by BRS working president KT Rama Rao, who criticized the Congress government.

Goud had been arrested and jailed for over 20 days for merely retweeting BRS tweets. The Telangana Police forcibly entered his home and arrested him, leading to public outrage over the misuse of power. The BRS legal team took the matter to the High Court.

Justice Tukaram not only dismissed all three cases but also cautioned against restricting free speech. The court instructed the state police to prevent such legal abuses in the future.

KT Rama Rao praised the court’s ruling, calling it a strong rebuke to the Congress government, which he accused of harassing BRS members through unfounded legal actions. He urged the Telangana DGP and the Director of the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau to halt the targeting of BRS supporters. Rao affirmed the party’s commitment to defending its members and supporting efforts to restore KCR’s leadership.
