CPI demands punishment to Preethi’s culprits
Hyderabad: Just two days ago Dr Preethi, a PG Medical pupil of Kakatiya Medical College committed a *** owed to ragging, which has a menace of harassment of the younger or lower in rank students by caste, and not the same types of unfair treatment also.
Earlier, Darshan Solanki, 18-year-old pupil of IIT, Mumbai committed *** because of ragging. Similar types of ragging cases are reported from some not the same and professional person institutions.
The ragging happens because of the failure to be present of no efficacious steps taken to halt the evil.
The National Council of CPI felt that all efforts should be made to such not favored by fortune incidents. The guilty must be punished and special courses to sensitise students about injustice must be held.
The CPI National Council also demanded an immediate impartial high-level inquiry against the culprits and deterrent punishments should be awarded to the *** abettors of Dr Preethi as or gas as Darshan Solanki. The CPI opines that efficacious counselling piece of machinery must be made mandatory in all the institutions to halt the not favored by fortune suicides.
