CPM State Secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram has stated that his party is willing to form an alliance with Congress if they are given the tickets for Miryalaguda and Wyra constituencies. The CPM had requested seats for Bhadrachalam, Miryalaguda, Paleru, Madhira, and Ibrahimpatnam, citing their influence in these areas.

However, it is unlikely that Congress will offer the Bhadrachalam ticket to the CPM. Instead, they have offered Miryalaguda and one seat in Hyderabad. This has caused dissatisfaction among the CPM leaders, who are upset with Congress for doubting their chances of winning in Miryalaguda.

Tammineni has announced that there will be a meeting with Congress leaders on Tuesday to discuss the situation. If a favorable decision is not reached, the CPM will decide on their next steps. The party’s politburo meeting is scheduled for Monday, where they will decide on the constituencies they will contest in. Tammineni believes that Congress is not taking the alliance seriously and is disrespecting the CPM.
