Sircilla: As part of the Road Safety Village Committee, the district police department organized CPR and first aid training in Rajanna Sircilla on Wednesday. People who run shops, hotels, puncture shops, and petrol pumps near major roads were given first aid kits during the event.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Akhil Mahajan explained that in case of an accident, the first people to respond are often those nearby, such as shop owners and employees. If these individuals are trained in CPR and first aid, they can play a crucial role in saving lives.
SP Mahajan also pointed out that many lives are lost because people do not receive timely first aid after accidents. He stressed the importance of awareness and training in preventing such tragedies.
