    Bandla Krishnamohan Reddy was born on September 21, 1967, in Bureddypally village of Jogulamba Gadwal district. He came from a poor farmer’s family and completed his education in Government schools. After his studies, he got involved in fighting against illegal mining and later joined the Telugu Desam Party.

    In 2009, Krishnamohan Reddy lost to a Congress candidate. He then joined the TRS party and contested in the 2014 election, but was defeated again. However, in the 2018 election, he emerged victorious against the Congress candidate by a significant margin.

    After his win, he was appointed as the TRS party secretary and later became the president of the party in Jogulamba Gadwal district. He is set to run for re-election as an MLA from Gadwal in the upcoming 2023 assembly elections.

    Former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao has praised Krishnamohan Reddy as a dynamic leader and a strong opponent of illegal mining. There are rumors circulating on social media about him potentially switching to the Congress party.
