Cyberabad CP Ensures Robust Security Measures for Ganesh Festivities

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty has asked officials to take important safety steps to make sure that the upcoming Ganesh festival is peaceful and without any problems. He held a meeting to discuss the security arrangements for the event.

The meeting was attended by several key officials including Medchal-Malkajgiri district collector Gowtham Potru, Ranga Reddy additional collector Pratima Singh, and senior police officers. Other participants included representatives from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), Roads & Buildings (R&B), Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB), Fire Services, Revenue, Transport, Road Transport Authority (RTA), and members from the Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi (BGUS).

Commissioner Mohanty highlighted the importance of the Ganesh festival, which is one of the biggest celebrations in the State, scheduled from September 7 to 17. He emphasized that the safety and comfort of women during the festival should be a top priority, and this will be a key factor in determining the event’s success.

He also instructed the police staff to gather details of the management committees responsible for the festival in their respective areas. Additionally, he directed them to work closely with other departments to prevent electrical accidents and ensure there are no interruptions in the power supply during the celebrations.
