Santhana Selvan, an IT worker and the voice behind the Twitter account Bicycle Mayor of Hyderabad, reported a serious injury to a cyclist from the Hyderabad Cycling Community.
The accident occurred due to poorly maintained manholes and unsafe roads, highlighting the risks cyclists and pedestrians face in the city.

Selvan and the cycling group have urged the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and Telangana authorities, including the GHMC Commissioner and the Chief Minister, to improve road conditions for everyone’s safety.
