Hyderabad: On Thursday, Health Minister C. Damodar Raja Narsimha instructed officials to enhance facilities at Niloufer Hospital. He emphasized the need to build infrastructure and provide lodging for patient attendants.
During a review meeting, the Minister highlighted that Niloufer Hospital ranks second in providing outpatient and inpatient services among hospitals linked to Osmania Medical College. He urged officials to strengthen all hospital departments and expedite the new building’s construction to improve patient care. He also stressed the importance of offering hostel accommodations for postgraduate students.
The Minister discussed the need for lodging for those assisting patients. He directed officials to prioritize hiring staff according to the required numbers. Discussions with TGMSIDC engineering officials covered the hospital’s building conditions. The Minister emphasized the need for infrastructure development, staff recruitment, equipment maintenance, and essential services like sanitation, drainage, and a RO water plant for patients and their attendants at Niloufer Hospital.
