District Collector BM Santhosh praised Mahatma Jyotirao Phule as a role model for all Indians. A celebration for Phule’s 198th birth anniversary was held at the Integrated District Collector office in Gadwal by the BC welfare department.
During the event, District Collector BM Santhosh, along with additional collectors Apoorva Chauhan and Musini Venkateshwarlu, paid their respects to Mahatma Jyotirao Phule. The Collector highlighted Phule’s dedication to the welfare of backward classes and women’s education, noting his lifelong efforts alongside his wife, Savitri ba Phule. He expressed happiness that the government officially celebrates Phule’s birthday.
Also present at the event were additional collectors Apoorva Chauhan and Musini Venkateshwarlu, AO BHADRAPPA, BC welfare department officer Swetha Priya Darshini, SC Corporation ED Ramesh Babu, DY SO BS Anand, and other officials.
