DC says advance supplementary exams must be held strictly

Asifabad district is preparing to hold the Class 10 and Intermediate Advance Supplementary Exams under strict supervision, according to District Collector Venkatesh Dotre.

In a recent review meeting with education officials, Dotre confirmed that the Intermediate Advance Supplementary Exams will take place from May 22 to May 29. First-year students will write their exams from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while second-year students will attend from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

The district has set up seven exam centers to conduct these intermediate tests. These centers are located at:

– Government Junior Colleges in Jainur, Kagaznagar, Kautala, Kerameri, and Asifabad
Telangana Adarsh School-College in Asifabad
Vasundhara Junior College in Kagaznagar

A total of 2,057 students will appear for the Intermediate General Exams, and 235 students will take the Vocational Exams.

For the Class 10 Advance Supplementary Exams, the district has arranged centers at:

Zilla Parishad Girls’ High School, Asifabad mandal center
Zilla Parishad Boys’ High School, Sir Silk Colony, Kagaznagar
Zilla Parishad High School, Sirpur-T mandal center

These exams will be held from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Collector Dotre emphasized strong security and proper arrangements at all centers. He instructed police deployment at each location to ensure the smooth movement of question papers and answer sheets.

To support students, all centers must have:

– Sufficient furniture
– Clean drinking water
– Constant power supply
– Working fans

He also stressed the presence of medical staff, ORS packets, and essential medicines, to be provided by the Medical and Health Department.

To help students reach the centers on time, bus services will be adjusted to match the exam schedule. Additionally, Xerox shops near the exam centers must remain closed during the exam hours to prevent any misuse.

The Collector urged all departments to work together to ensure the exams go off smoothly and fairly across the district.
