Khanapur: In Nirmal district, Collector Abhilasha Abhinav has directed officials to ensure all preparations are in place for the grand celebration of Telangana State Formation Day on June 2.
She convened a meeting on Thursday with relevant department officials at the Collectorate.
The Collector emphasized inviting public representatives and dignitaries to the event. The venue should be adorned with flowers, and seating must comply with protocol. She advised organizing cultural programs by students to showcase the rich traditions of Telangana. Continuous provision of shamianas, drinking water, snacks, and fruits is essential to ensure attendees’ comfort. Cleanliness is crucial, and Police and Fire Department personnel should remain vigilant.
She also instructed the Medical Department to establish a health camp with emergency medicines. Special efforts should be made to distribute sanction documents for various government schemes like Rajiv Yuva Vikasam. The Collector encouraged officials to collaborate effectively to make the celebration a success.
