In Hyderabad, students from the Social Welfare Gurukul Degree College at Shadnagar Crossroad, Ranga Reddy District, staged a protest. They accused the principal of harassment and illegal money collection. The students claimed they were not allocated necessary funds, weren’t allowed to take internal exams, and were forced to pay ₹3,000 as exam fees. Additionally, they alleged caste-based discrimination.

The protest took place on the road, causing a traffic jam in Shadnagar. Police attempted to disperse the students, leading to a confrontation. A female constable allegedly mishandled a student, which escalated the situation. Angered, the students reportedly pulled the constable by her hair.

The protest halted vehicle movement, and the students declared they would not leave until the Collector addressed their grievances.
