In a significant development in the ongoing Delhi Liquor Scam Case, BRS MLC Kavitha remains in jail. There is no immediate relief for her as the court has adjourned the hearing on her default bail petition to August 7.

The Rouse Avenue court had previously dismissed several of her bail petitions. Kavitha’s lawyer asked for more time because a senior advocate was unavailable. Judge Kaveri Bhaveja agreed and scheduled the next hearing.
