The HYDRA team has restarted demolition operations in Hyderabad. Their focus is on clearing illegal encroachments in the city. Currently, they are working in Kukatpally to take down unauthorized structures built on the Nallacheruvu lake.

The Nallacheruvu lake covers 27 acres, but 7 acres of its buffer zone and NTL land have been illegally occupied. On 4 acres of the buffer zone, over 50 permanent buildings and apartments have been constructed. The other 3 acres of NTL land have 25 buildings and 16 sheds on them. While the residential buildings are not being torn down, HYDRA is demolishing the 16 sheds. Due to the large scale of the operation, there is a heavy police presence in the area.

At the same time, HYDRA is carrying out similar demolition activities in Ameenpur Municipality, located in Sangareddy district. They are targeting illegal constructions in Patelguda, specifically in Survey No. 12. These actions are part of an ongoing effort to clear illegal constructions in the region.
