    TTD Deputy EE Sri Lakshmi was arrested in an attempted murder case in Tirupati. Her husband Girish Chandra Reddy and two others were also arrested along with her. The incident took place on May 25 when Venkata Siva Reddy was attacked in Tirupati’s NGO Colony, leaving him seriously injured and hospitalized.

    The attack on Siva Reddy occurred in front of his residence, where two people on a bike assaulted him with a blunt knife, causing severe injuries to his head. Siva Reddy and Sri Lakshmi, who live in neighboring flats, had a history of conflicts leading up to the incident.

    Siva Reddy is currently undergoing treatment in a private hospital and remains in critical condition. The Alipiri police have taken charge of the case and are investigating further based on CCTV footage that helped identify and arrest the suspects.
