    India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar recently called Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to convey greetings from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Jaishankar is currently in Dhaka to attend the ‘6th Indian Ocean Conference 2023’, which focuses on promoting regional cooperation. The conference, organised by the India Foundation and Bangladesh’s foreign ministry, has the theme “Peace, Prosperity and Partnership for a Resilient Future”. The conference will bring together ministers and officials from various countries to discuss strengthening the Indian Ocean Region. Bangladesh’s Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate the conference, while Jaishankar will deliver the keynote address at the opening ceremony.
