MLA Laxman Kumar criticized the previous BRS government, stating that farmers had suffered under its rule. He particularly pointed out that K Eshwar, who was a minister at the time, did not help farmers who were being unfairly treated by rice millers.

Laxman Kumar highlighted that after the Congress party came to power, the government waived loans of up to Rs 2 lakh for farmers. In Jagtial district, 80% of the loan waivers have been completed, with the remaining 20% to be cleared soon.

Regarding irrigation projects, the MLA mentioned that the concerned minister has already been informed. The Pattipaka reservoir will be completed and made operational soon. He also promised that the Rolla Vagu project, which was delayed by the previous government due to rising costs, will be finished soon.
