NagarKurnool: Dr. G.V. Ramesh, the District Animal Husbandry Officer, has asked his staff to educate farmers and sheep breeders. The aim is to prevent cattle, sheep, and goats from getting diseases due to fresh grass growing during the rainy season.

On Wednesday, Dr. Ramesh made unannounced visits to several locations. These included the Bijnapally Veterinary Hospital, Manganur Sub Center, Lattupalli Center, and Palem Center in the Bijnapally Mandal. During his visits, he stressed the importance of staff being on time and warned that there would be strict action for negligence.

Dr. Ramesh also mentioned that all sheep in the Manganur area need to be vaccinated for bluetongue disease. He encouraged farmers to grow nutritious fodder to improve the livestock in the district.

Joining Dr. Ramesh were Dr. Pawan Kumar and Veterinary Assistants P. Shravani, Jyothi, Azeem, OS Anwar, Khader, and Gopal Mitra Venkata Swamy, among others.
