District Collector Directs Strict Arrangements for NEET UG 2025 Exam

Gadwal: Authorities in Gadwal district are working hard to ensure the NEET UG 2025 exam runs smoothly and without any errors. District Collector B.M. Santosh has instructed all officials to make proper arrangements and avoid any mistakes during the exam process.

Speaking at a coordination meeting held at the IDOC Conference Hall on Tuesday, the Collector stressed the importance of conducting the exam efficiently. The NEET UG 2025 is scheduled for May 4, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. He said students must not face any disruptions on exam day.

Last year’s exam faced some complaints. To prevent repeat issues, the Collector has called for tighter security and better planning this time. The exam will take place across three government institutions in the district: Government Boys High School, Government Girls High School, and Government Junior College.

A total of 1,029 students are expected to appear. Entry to centers will be allowed between 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM. All candidates must carry their admit cards and a valid photo ID. Biometric verification will be done at the centers. Students are strictly banned from carrying mobile phones, wallets, electronic gadgets, or gold jewelry.

To ensure security, the Collector ordered the setup of CCTV cameras, control rooms, and proper law enforcement at all centers. Police officials will guard the transport of question papers from banks to centers and return of answer sheets to post offices after the exam.

Each center will also have a first-aid station stocked with ORS packets and basic medicines. The electricity department has been asked to ensure uninterrupted power supply, while the municipal authorities will manage drinking water, toilets, and clean surroundings at the centers.

The Collector reminded everyone that NEET is a national-level exam, and even one mistake at any center can have serious consequences for students across the country. He urged all officials to work together to guarantee a safe and smooth exam.

Key officials attending the meeting included Superintendent of Police Srinivasa Rao, DSP Mogalaya, District Education Officer Abdul Ghani, Chief Superintendent Devender Reddy, Electricity Department’s EE Ramesh Babu, Municipal Commissioner Dasharath, along with school heads, bank staff, and other department representatives.
