Hyderabad: BJP National Vice President, DK Aruna, criticized the police for placing BJP leaders under house arrest. She argued that there was no law and order issue as the leaders were only going to inspect 2BHK houses at Batasingaram. Aruna sarcastically remarked that they were not carrying weapons or arms that warranted an arrest.
Similarly, Eatala condemned the arrest of BJP leaders who were also planning to inspect double bedroom houses. He emphasized that in a democracy, everyone has the right to protest. Eatala accused the State government of habitually detaining opposition leaders.
He stated that it is their responsibility to bring the people’s issues to the government’s attention. However, Chief Minister KCR’s actions are seen as tyrannical. Eatala assured that their struggle would continue even if they were placed under house arrest.
