KL Rahul, the captain of Lucknow Super Giants, has announced that he will be unable to participate in the remainder of IPL 2023 and the World Test Championship final due to a thigh injury. He sustained the injury while running to stop a boundary during their IPL match against Royal Challengers Bangalore earlier this week. Rahul will undergo surgery soon and focus on his rehabilitation to ensure a full recovery.

As the team captain, he expressed his disappointment at not being able to participate during this crucial period, but is confident that his team will rise to the occasion. Rahul thanked his fans, the LSG management, the BCCI, and his teammates for their support during this difficult time.
