The Aam Aadmi Party has accused the BJP of disrespecting Hinduism by turning Shivlings into fountains. The AAP leader, Durgesh Pathak, claimed that this action has hurt the sentiments of many Hindus across the country. The BJP’s official Twitter handle even congratulated the Prime Minister for creating these fountains, which the AAP finds shameful. They demand the sacking of LG Vinay Kumar Saxena and an apology from the BJP.

During a press conference, Pathak mentioned that they have been receiving calls from people all over the country expressing their anger towards the BJP’s actions. The G-20 event has gained national attention, but Hindu devotees are upset with the way the BJP is treating their religion.

The process of building Shivlings involves consecration and offering clean and pure water. However, the fountains are pouring dirty water on the Shivlings, which is causing more distress for devotees. Additionally, AAP leader Nitin Tyagi criticized LG for wearing shoes and pointing fingers towards the Shivlings, calling out their hypocrisy.

Tyagi also questioned the BJP’s promotion of the film Adipurush, which used disrespectful language towards revered gods. He wonders if the BJP is trying to instill these values in children, as they seem to lack respect for religion.
