Hyderabad: BJP leader Eatala Rajender has announced a new public grievances cell at the party’s central office. Starting Monday, an MP or MLA will be available from 11 am to 2 pm to listen to public concerns. People can bring issues like job irregularities, real estate problems, and misuse of power. Eatala promised that the party will take these issues to the right authorities or the government for quick action. The BJP is committed to addressing these concerns.
Eatala highlighted that the BJP is actively addressing many issues such as government job vacancies, diversion of Godavari river waters, and paddy procurement. He believes people trust the BJP to solve the state’s financial issues. He also criticized the BRS and Congress for claiming credit for the formation of Telangana.
Eatala dismissed any meetings with BRS leaders, stating there’s no communication with them except at social events. He criticized Congress and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for double standards, pointing out that while the Chief Minister seeks the Centre's support, he also insults Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Malkajgiri mentioned that Congress set up commissions to investigate the Kaleswaram Lift Irrigation Scheme and other issues but took no action. This raises doubts about their intentions. On state formation day, Eatala emphasized that the creation of Telangana was due to generations of struggle. He recalled the deaths in 1969 during the governments of Indira Gandhi and Brahmananda Reddy. June 2 will be celebrated as a day of achievement through struggle and sacrifice. The BJP remains committed to Telangana, referencing the Kakinada resolution of “one vote, two states.”
In 2007, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh supported Telangana, along with leaders like Bandaru Dattatreya and Ashok Yadav. Sushma Swaraj urged youth not to commit suicide and stood firm in Parliament, earning the title “Chinnamma.” Unlike Congress, the BJP has consistently supported the vision for a social and democratic Telangana. Eatala affirmed that this vision can only be realized under BJP leadership.
