The Election Commission of India (ECI) has sent 47 observers to monitor the counting of votes on June 4 in Telangana. There will be 34 counting centers set up across the state for this purpose.

Counting of votes will take place at these locations, with 1,855 tables for EVMs and 276 for postal ballots. Data entry will be done for each round with approval from the Returning Officer or Assistant Returning Officer and the Observers.

Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj stated that preparations for the counting are in place. Training for officials involved in the counting process is ongoing, with the first round expected to be completed soon.
