Hyderabad: The Commissioner's Task Force from the West Zone Team, in collaboration with Masab Tank Police Station, has arrested eight people for possessing illegal drugs. Officers confiscated hash oil worth Rs 2.25 lakh, along with dry ganja, charas, and knives.
Among those arrested were drug dealers Mohammed Faizan from Masab Tank and Yelagada Navya from Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. Four sub-peddlers, Kundurthi Veerachary, Sam Ajay Kumar, Vemula Harshith, and Mohammed Sameer, were also caught. Additionally, consumers Sam Vijay Kumar and Syed Murthuza Ali Hussain were detained.
Initially, police captured Murthuza, Faizan, Harshith, and Sameer near the Pension Office Bus Stop, Masab Tank. They found a small box containing hash oil and charas with Faizan. Two daggers and 175 grams of dry ganja were hidden in Faizan's motorbike. Sameer also had a small box of hash oil. Faizan admitted he had brought the dry ganja and charas from Nagpur and bought hash oil from Harshith and Sameer for Rs 3,000.
Sameer revealed that Ajay and Veerachary sold him the hash oil. Based on this, police arrested Ajay, Veerachary, and a consumer, Vijay, at Gajularamaram. Navya was later caught with 71 small boxes of hash oil. She disclosed that a supplier from Andhra Pradesh provided the hash oil.

They highlight that drug abuse can result in severe outcomes, such as job loss, health problems, and criminal records, which can permanently harm one’s future.
