    Hyderabad: On Wednesday, G Kishan Reddy, the Union Minister of Coal and Mines, met with C R Patil, the Union Minister for Jal Shakti, in Shram Shakti Bhavan in the national capital. They discussed the Godavari-Banakacharla project, which the Government of Andhra Pradesh has proposed.

    C R Patil promised to review the project according to the Ministry’s current guidelines. He emphasized that the evaluation process would be fair and include input from all relevant parties. Patil assured that the Government of India would ensure no state is treated unfairly regarding this project.
