All set for Telangana Formation Day celebrations on Sunday. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to lead the festivities.
The day will start with floral tributes to Telangana martyrs at Gun Park at 9:30 am. Then, the Chief Minister will hoist the national flag at Parade Grounds at 10 am and receive a guard of honor. The State song and anthem will be released, followed by awards for police personnel and best contingents.
In the evening, celebrations will move to Tank Bund with handicrafts, special products, food stalls, and a carnival showcasing Telangana art forms. Around 700 artists will participate in cultural dance performances, followed by a flag walk and the release of the Jaya Jayahe Telangana song. Poet Ande Sri and music director MM Keeravani will be honored before fireworks end the day at 8:50 pm.
Governor Radhakrishnan has been invited to the ceremony, with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy extending the invitation in person alongside Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka.
