Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Errabelli Dayakar Rao has strongly criticized those spreading false information about the reinstallation of presiding deities in the Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple at Valmidi. He clarified that the reinstallation ceremony followed the guidelines of Agama Sastra and was conducted under the supervision of Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swami.
Errabelli Dayakar Rao called out politicians like Hanumandla Jhansi of Congress who are using this issue for their own benefit. He urged them not to politicize matters related to the temple. The minister expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for supporting the development of historical places like Valmidi, Bammera, and Somanatha temple. He also laid the foundation stone for the construction of Peddamma Thalli temple at Valmidi.
Meanwhile, DVR Sharma, the convener of Telangana Archaka Udyoga JAC, condemned the criticism directed towards priests and temple procedures.
