Exchange of fire in Bhadradri Kothagudem results in the death of two Maoists.

Two Maoists were killed in a shootout with police in Bhadradri Kothagudem district, Telangana. The Greyhounds forces were combing the forest area on the Telangana-Chattisgarh border when they were attacked by Maoists at Puttapadu of Charla Mandal. The Maoists fired at the Greyhounds team, who then retaliated and killed two of the attackers. The deceased were identified as LOS Commander Rajesh and CNM Commander Nanda. Police seized an SLR and other materials found at the scene of the incident.
