The SP of Nagar Kurnool, Vaibhav Gaikwad Raghunath, conducted extensive checks on drugs and narcotics in the district center. This was part of a program initiated by the state DGP following orders from the Telangana state government. The inspections were led by RI Jagan along with the district reserve police, and they used a narcotic dog squad to check the bus stand premises and grocery shops on the main roads of the town.
SP Gaikwad mentioned that proactive inspections are essential to prevent the youth from getting involved in drugs and to reduce drug usage. He urged parents to keep an eye on their children and make sure they stay away from drugs for a better future. The police department is dedicated to eradicating drugs and working towards this goal.
