A tragic incident occurred on November 6th in Gajjalamma Street, Gadwal. A young girl, the daughter of Kurva Parashuram, had reportedly been harassed for some time by a local youth named Vinod. He would bother her under the guise of being in love, which eventually forced the girl to stop going to school.

Despite multiple warnings to leave the girl alone, Vinod visited her house on November 6th and behaved inappropriately. When the girl’s father, Parashuram, arrived at the scene, Vinod fled.

Parashuram, feeling helpless and ashamed that he couldn’t protect his daughter, even after lodging complaints with the police, was overcome with despair. That same day, he tragically ended his life by stepping in front of a train.
