A bus had an accident near Kusumanchi in Khammam district. It happened early on Saturday at the Lokyatanda Bridge on the Suryapet-Khammam National Highway. The bus was traveling from Hyderabad to Rajamahendravaram when it overturned because the driver was speeding. This caused injuries to 15 passengers.
