Fire erupts in Vijaynagar colony, Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A fire erupted at a mechanic shop in Vijaynagar Colony, Hyderabad, early on January 27. The blaze started around 2:00 am, causing thick smoke to pour from the shop.

Firefighters responded quickly and managed to extinguish the flames using one fire engine. An official stated that the cause of the fire is still being investigated, and thankfully, no one was injured. The total damage remains unknown.

Earlier, on January 24, a fire occurred at a ladies’ hostel in Alwal, Hyderabad, due to an AC malfunction. The fire, on the fourth floor, led to panic, and students evacuated the building. Firefighters controlled the situation with one fire engine. Five students required hospital treatment, but no fatalities were reported.
