Hyderabad: Prominent BRS leader and former MLA Kondabala Koteshwara Rao from the Madhira constituency joined the Congress along with many other leaders. They were welcomed by PCC president B Mahesh Kumar Goud and Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.
At an event held at Gandhi Bhavan on Monday, Mahesh Goud expressed his pleasure at Koteshwara Rao’s return to the party. He mentioned that the leader’s respect for AICC’s policies and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s leadership motivated his decision. Goud believes Rao’s involvement will significantly strengthen the party in Khammam.
Deputy CM Bhatti highlighted Rao’s extensive experience, noting his journey from a local Sarpanch to an MLA. Bhatti emphasized Rao’s thorough understanding of local governance and legislative matters.
