Former minister Damodar Reddy dies

Hyderabad: Ram Reddy Damodar Reddy, aged 73, a former minister, died on Wednesday night. He was a five-time MLA and served as the IT Minister under Dr. YS Rajashekar Reddy. He won his first election as MLA from Thungathurthi in 1985 and later represented Suryapeta. He was receiving treatment at AIG Hospital but passed away there. His funeral will take place in Thungathurthi on October 4. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy expressed his condolences and honored his contributions to the state and Nalgonda district.
