Hyderabad: The former State Coordinator of Telangana PCC Social Media has been elected as the State General Secretary for Telangana Youth Congress under the open category.
Almas Khan, who previously served as the NSUI State Secretary, has been an active figure in the Congress party’s digital initiatives. From 2017 to 2022, he worked as the State Social Media Incharge for NSUI and later as the State Coordinator for Telangana PCC Social Media.
During his tenure, Khan played a key role in boosting the Congress party’s campaign efforts against the BRS regime. His contributions in using digital platforms to amplify the party’s message were widely recognized.
Khan’s political journey began in 2012 as a student leader in NSUI. Over the years, he held several positions, including National Coordinator Incharge of NSUI’s Research and Analysis Department.
In the most recent elections, Khan was promoted from his previous role as the Joint Secretary of Youth Congress to the position of General Secretary, marking another milestone in his political career.
