    CCTV Cameras Installed to Enhance Security in Hyderabad

    S. Rashmi Perumal, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) for the North Zone, inaugurated 82 new CCTV cameras in Hyderabad on Thursday. These cameras were installed through a joint effort by local residents and the police department.

    The CCTV cameras are distributed across various areas. This includes 22 “Nenu Saitham” cameras and 28 community cameras covering Begumpet’s Mothilal Nehru Nagar. Additionally, 32 cameras have been installed in Wesley Teacher’s Colony, located in Bowenpally.

    DCP Rashmi Perumal highlighted the importance of CCTV cameras in improving safety and reducing crime. She commended the residents of Begumpet and Bowenpally for their proactive role in strengthening security in their neighborhoods.
