Nagarkurnool: A young man from Kondanagula village has gone from herding cattle to becoming a role model for many. Paramesh, once a child laborer, was recognized by District Collector Badavath Santosh for rising above hardship and poverty to achieve a PhD.
At 14, Paramesh joined school through a bridge course, starting in Class 7, and pursued his education diligently. His hard work paid off with a PhD from Osmania University, Hyderabad.
On Friday, he was honored at the Collectorate with a shawl. Collector Santosh praised Paramesh, highlighting how his journey inspires young people who have left school. He emphasized that Paramesh’s story shows what determination can achieve, and intends for Paramesh to lead motivational sessions in schools, especially for students facing challenges in their education. The Collector believes Paramesh can encourage others from similar backgrounds.
Paramesh recounted his transformation from a cattle herder to a research scholar. The Collector commended his perseverance, stating that talent shines when given a chance, with Paramesh’s life being a perfect example.
