Gadwal: Senior Congress leaders and party members from the Gadwal Assembly Constituency have urged TPCC President Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud to address growing dissatisfaction among local Congress workers.

During a significant meeting on July 21, 2025, the group submitted a petition highlighting neglect and unfair treatment of loyal Congress members in Gadwal. Over 5,000 members from the town and nearby areas attended, pushing for recognition and justice.

Main Concerns in the Petition:

  1. Neglect of Long-Time Activists:
Leaders claim committed Congress workers are missing out on key benefits like nominated posts and housing scheme allotments. They allege these are given to those linked with rival parties, especially supporters of BRS MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy.

  2. Recognition for Saritha Tirupatayya:
The group expressed disappointment over the lack of recognition for Ms. K. Saritha Tirupatayya, the Congress in-charge for the constituency. They insist her dedication deserves a higher position in the party.

  3. Issuing ‘B’ Forms via Saritha Tirupatayya:
As local elections approach, they recommend party nominations be distributed through Ms. Tirupatayya, citing her grassroots support and potential to boost the party’s presence.

If ignored, the group threatens a protest march, “Chalo Gandhi Bhavan Padayatra,” to the TPCC headquarters in Hyderabad.
