Gadwal: Sub-Inspector Kalyan Kumar from Gadwal Town Police quickly found a lost sum of ₹8,000 in just one hour, impressing both a man from Bihar and local residents.

The situation unfolded near the Registrar Office in Gadwal. Vinod Khan, originally from Bihar, tried to deposit ₹8,000 into an SBI ATM. Unaware that the ATM rejected his transaction, he left without checking if the money was credited.

Realizing the issue, Vinod went straight to the Gadwal Town Police Station to report the missing money. SI Kalyan Kumar acted fast, using CCTV footage from the ATM and other town cameras to investigate.

The CCTV review showed that the ATM returned the money, and someone behind Vinod took it. SI Kalyan Kumar quickly tracked down the person, retrieving all ₹8,000.

Vinod was relieved to have his money back so soon. He thanked SI Kalyan Kumar for his swift and effective response.
