Acting on a tip-off, Task Force teams conducted raids in the Machlipura area of Dhoolpet. During the search, they caught Satyanarayana Singh selling the drug-laced kulfi ice creams. According to the Excise Department, he had brought the contraband from Gujarat to Hyderabad for the festival.

Officials were shocked at how the accused managed to operate without raising suspicion. Excise Officer Anji Reddy confirmed that Satyanarayana was arrested and a case was registered against him.

The officer also warned that strict action will be taken against anyone involved in drug-related activities, whether during festivals or regular days. He urged young people to stay away from drugs to ensure their safety and well-being.
