Aadi Srinivas was born in 1967 in a farming family. He completed his SSC at the Zilla Parishad High School in Rudrangi and went on to pursue ITI in Nizamabad in 1985. During his time at ITI, he became a vocal advocate for the students and served as the Secretary of the student union from 1985-86. After finishing ITI, he became the general secretary of the Congress party in Rudrangi village from 1987-91.
He then went on to serve as the district general secretary of the combined Karimnagar district Youth Congress from 1991-1995. Aadi Srinivas was a close follower of Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy and gained strength when Rajasekhar became the PCC president in Andhra Pradesh. At the age of 28, he won as ZPTC from Chandurthi mandal in 1995 and later served as the floor leader of the joint Karimnagar Zilla Parishad from 1997-2000.
In 2001, he won as MPTC and became a member of the Mandal Parishad. He then served as the Chandurthi Mandal MPP from 2003-2006. Aadi Srinivas was appointed as the chairman of the Vemulawada Rajarajeswara Swamy temple in 2004. In 2005, his efforts led to the sanction of a lift irrigation scheme in Vemulawada, Sircilla, which was recognized by YSR and MLA Chennamaneni Rajeshwar Rao.
Despite being defeated in the MLA elections in 2009, Aadi Srinivas continued his work with the Congress party in Telangana. He was eventually appointed as the district president of Rajanna Sircilla. In the November 2023 Assembly elections, he ran as a candidate for the Congress party and won by a large margin. Revanth Reddy then named him as a Government Whip.
Since becoming an MLA, Aadi Srinivas has been actively engaging with his constituents and addressing their concerns. He conducts constituency-wide tours to directly identify and solve problems faced by the people, ensuring that officials take prompt action.
